• If you need to leave your car overnight, it must be moved to Soundcheck Studios’ main lot

• Cars left overnight in neighboring lots may be towed at vehicle owner's expense

About Slim and The Heavy Set

Born in 2023 from the developing jam scene at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Slim and the Heavy Set are a 5 piece freight train ready to rock stages. Justin Floeck on lead guitar provides girthy and psychedelic riffs reminiscent of SRV, the Allman brothers and Jimi Hendrix over the top of thick beats from the Heavy Set rhythm section, Nicholas Macaluso (drums) and James Blandino (bass). In 2024 the band added Mike Ricardo on percussion and Kevin Smith on piano and synths to thicken up the sound and add more layers to the improvisation. One thing with this crew, it's never the same way twice!
